DOMESTIC SHIPPING FOR RETAIL CUSTOMERS:

SHIPPING DAYS Orders ship on Tuesdays and Fridays of every week and we do not ship on weekends or holidays.

SERVICES USED We use USPS First Class Insured for all orders weighing less than (1) lb.  In most cases, transit times for First Class packages are exactly the same as they are for Priority Mail. In some cases, the transit time for First Class adds (1) day, at most. Using First Class allows us to keep the flat shipping fee lower for our customers. Heavier items will ship USPS Priority Mail (3-5) business days or UPS Ground (up to 5 business days). 

TRACKING SHIPMENTS When a label is printed, a tracking number is automatically entered into the order's info in our system. An automated email with this information is sent immediately to the email address used to place the order. Shipments can also be tracked via logging into your account on our website.

The tracking information on usps.com is the same info we see; America's Dog Apparel is not privy to additional information regarding the shipment. If your shipment is not tracking yet, please give it a few days. For the last few years, shippers have been lax about scanning packages at all locations, so your shipment may be handed over to the shipper and still not show movement on a tracking page. It's common to see a lack of tracking updates until the shipment has been delivered, then the full tracking history suddenly appears. Package loss is extremely rare.

SHIPPING DAMAGE CLAIMS If you have received an item that was damaged during transit, please send clear photos of the damaged packaging, as well as the item(s) to: info@americasdogapparel.com. We will issue a replacement and handle the insurance claim with the shipper. 

LOST PACKAGE CLAIMS All shippers require a 30 day wait before packages can be declared officially lost. After 30 days, if tracking doesn't show updates, we will issue a replacement and handle the insurance claim with the shipper.

MAIL THEFT If tracking shows the package was delivered but you have not received it yet, this is considered package theft and America's Dog Apparel and the carrier are not responsible for stolen mail. If you live in a building with an unsecured mail area, if your front door, stoop, porch or deck is on a busy street, if your office mail area is not monitored or your neighborhood/office has known issues with package theft, please enter a more secure location into the shipping details for your order.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING FOR RETAIL CUSTOMERS:

All international orders ship via USPS First Class International Insured. Once the package clears customs, it is intercepted by that country's postal carrier and USPS is not updated again until the package has been delivered. If your order has cleared your country's customs and you need more information, please contact your local post office, as they may have access to more information. We do not have access to any other country's postal tracking information. 

We use USPS real-time shipping quotes for International shipments and their system estimates the taxes & fees that will be charged for the types of items in your order and for your specific location. Sometimes, foreign customs decide to add arbitrary amounts onto this estimate and in those cases, any overage will have to be paid before your local post office releases the package to you. Although it rarely happens, we want you to be aware that America's Dog Apparel is not responsible for payment of additional customs fees. 

 

DOMESTIC SHIPPING FOR WHOLESALE CUSTOMERS:

Domestic wholesale orders are shipped UPS Ground (transit time is up to 5 business days). Shipping is calculated by weight, volume and distance from our warehouse. Local delivery within a 30 mile radius of 28748 is free and 30-90 miles for a flat rate of $40. Curbside pickup at our Leicester, NC warehouse is available by appointment 7 days a week. Wholesale customers are welcome to use their own shipper and account number.  We will provide the weight and box size(s) and you purchase postage, email a label to us and schedule a pickup. 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING FOR WHOLESALE CUSTOMERS: 

International wholesale orders are shipped via customer's choice: USPS Priority International, Fedex, DHL or UPS. Rates are calculated by weight, volume and country and we can provide an exact shipping quote at the time of your order. 

CLAIMS:

INTERNATIONAL LOST PACKAGE CLAIMS Because transit times are affected by each country's customs office, International shipping times vary. There is a 45 day waiting period for lost package claims on International orders.
